Namaste Studio Kapuskasing

A beautiful calming space

Namaste Studio is a fully equipped sacred space allowing up to 18 students to embrace the joy of yoga. Practice on the best mats on the market, Manduka Pro. All props are supplied in the studio; cork blocks, organic cotton loop straps, bolsters, blankets, zafus and lavender eye pillows. All proudly sourced from Halfmoon Yoga,  a Canadian Company located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Yoga Props and Mats can be purchased at Namaste Studio.

Jessica is the founder of Namaste Studio and a 200-RYT since April of 2011. She was certified through Marianne Wells Yoga School in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. She loves teaching Vinyasa, Hatha and her signature Chakra Yoga Classes.

Lumira is a 200-RYT since April of 2017. She has deepened her studies with Guruji B.N.S. Iyengar during 3 extensive trips to India. Lumira enjoys chanting, sound baths and meditation during her public classes.

June is a 200- RYT and retired Registered Nurse of over 37 years. She took her first yoga class at the tender age of 64. June graduated in August 2012 from the Vancouver Semperviva Yoga Center. She enjoys teaching restorative.

Types of Yoga Classes

HATHA

The most common type of yoga and most taught at Namaste Studio, Hatha focuses on physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation. Hatha provides a great foundation for proper alignments in asanas (poses) that are to be applied to faster paced classes like Vinyasa. Perfect for all levels.

VINYASA FLOW

Offers a fast paced approach to yoga. This class will definitely get you sweating as we flow from 

one pose to the next. Perfect for all students in good physical health.

GENTLE FLOW

Similar to Hatha Yoga with a gentler approach. This class focuses on finding proper alignment only using poses incorporating gentle stretching. Perfect for beginners and students with physical limitations but great for all levels.

YOUTH YOGA

This interactive class introduces children to yoga by incorporating games and yoga poses.

 A fun to way to learn, make new friends and stay in shape. Ideal for children ages 5-10 years old.

YOGA LUNCH

A 40 minute class offered on your lunch hour, a great remedy to break up your workday. 

Great for working individuals and those who are short on time.

IRON YOGA

Iron yoga is fusion of yoga and resistance training with weights.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga. Poses are held normally for five minutes or longer. Tailored to lengthen fascia, tendons and ligaments. Excellent choice for stiff clients.
